• We received this starter from a batch of new-old-stock items from a previous business.
• However, upon inspection, we did notice some minor wear on the teeth of the starter and therefore, we are listing this as used.
• The starter is in like-new condition and has very minimal signs of previous use.

  Generally speaking, we test starters while still on the engine to ensure that they turn the engine over correctly with no hanging up or whining.  When starters come in already off the engine or a block is frozen and the starter cannot be engine tested, they are bench tested with 12 volts. 
  

We are now offering a 1-year mechanical warranty for this part. Should you have any problems within this time frame, we will simply refund/replace the item as necessary.
