Additional Info |
This lower unit is in great condition and ready for install. From the base of the water pump to the end of the driveshaft, it measures approximately 26 1/4" long. There are 8 splines on the driveshaft and 15 on the propeller shaft. All the splines are in perfect shape and are not damaged in any way. This is due for a paint job and has been priced accordingly. The skeg is chipped and the retaining ring for the carrier is stuck. This will come exactly as pictured.
This lower unit qualifies for a 6 month warranty. This unit is being sold with a 6 month working warranty that covers the gears, bearings, and shafts. This does NOT cover seals. The warranty is validated by your core. In order to qualify for this, you must send in that core. Both shafts must spin and it must be complete. We will send a label for you to return your core in our box after receipt of the unit you’ve purchased. If you do not have a spinning core, you may call in after your purchase and buy the 6 month warranty for 10% of the purchase price. If you do not return a core or purchase a warranty, this unit will be sold with a 45 day warranty and nothing more or less. Location: Southcentral Outboards, Altamont, Illinois |
Fits: | While this unit will technically fit the 135 and 150 2.0L engines, the gear ratio of 1.87 to 1 was made for the 175/200 HP V6's in the 2.4 and 2.5L range. This has a bullet size of 4-3/4" so while it will fit the 88 and older models, it's was really made for 1989 and later models using that big bullet. If you put this on an early model, you'd need a larger diameter prop. |
