• This is a powerhead from a 1971 Mercury 9.8 HP engine.
• The compression on this was reading and 100/80 and it was taken apart to see if there was an issue with it.
• We can't find scratches on the cylinder walls or on the pistons.
• The compression readings and condition indicate that this could be reassembled with new rings. 
• This sale is for the crankshaft and pistons, complete, and the block.
• Consider it for parts or for the crankshaft.
• The bolts from the block disappeared, so you'll have to use your old ones.
