• This lower unit does have a 2:1 gear ratio and was removed from a freshwater engine.
• This unit shifts and spins smoothly with no binding and the prop shaft is straight
• The driveshaft splines are showing slight wear
• The gears and clutch are in good condition
• The oil was free and clean of water and heavy metal
• The paint has been stripped and primed
• This unit is fully resealed, pressure checked, and a new impeller installed.
• This does not come with the propeller, or propeller hardware.
• This will come exactly as pictured - please refer to the photos to verify what is included in this listing and the condition these parts are in prior to ordering
• The unit has been drained of oil and this will need to be added prior to installation.

Criteria to validate your 1 year warranty:

• Core must be of equal or greater value
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 1 year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the 1 year warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us and we would be happy to help!
