• 1.87 to 1 Ratio.
• We have drained the unit of oil and this will need to be added prior to installation.
• From the base of the water pump to the end of the driveshaft, it measures approximately 26 1/4" long. 
• There are 8 splines on the driveshaft and 15 on the propeller shaft.
• All the splines are in perfect shape and are not damaged in any way. 
• The skeg has a chip missing from the tip.
• The paint is a little banged up, mainly on the skeg, but this is entirely cosmetic.
• This will come exactly as pictured. Purchase with confidence!

This lower unit qualifies for a 6 month warranty.  The warranty is validated by your core.  In order to qualify for this, you must send in that core.  Both shafts must spin and it must be complete.  We will send a label for you to return your core in our box after receipt of the unit you’ve purchased.  If you do not have a spinning core, you may call in after your purchase and buy the 6 month warranty for 10% of the purchase price.  If you do not return a core or purchase a warranty, this unit will be sold with a 45 day warranty and nothing more or less.

Fits 25" XL Mercury 2.0, 2.4, and 2.5L V6's from 1976 to present.  This includes carbureted models, EFI, and Optimax models.
