It is necessary to have drive handle P/N 311880 (NOT INCLUDED) when using this tool to install front coil and lead assembly in all 1966 thru 1968 100 HP outboard gearcases. Use of this tool will insure that the coil is installed to the correct depth.
Also, used in all 100 through 245 HP stern drive gearcases.
