• This is a new old stock lower unit, direct from Mercury.  
• Southcentral Outboards is warrantying this unit for a term of 1 year from the date of purchase.  
• From the top of the water pump to the tip of the driveshaft, the shaft measures approximately 24-1/2" long and has 11 splines. 

This lower unit is sold with a 1 year warranty.  That's a mechanical warranty.  We'll cover anything that goes wrong from a mechanical standpoint.
