The unit shifts and spins smoothly and the prop shaft is straight. From the top of the water pump, the driveshaft measures approximately 29 3/8" long and has 20 splines. The propeller shaft has 15 splines. When drained, the oil was clean and free of metal or water. The skeg has a small chip out of the bottom that should not affect performance. There are a couple of dings on the top- please see photos for more detail. This unit has been fully resealed and pressure checked with a new impeller installed. This will come exactly as pictured so purchase with confidence! General Information
**Due to shipping restrictions, lower unit are shipped empty. Every lower unit requires new oil to be installed when you receive it. To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:
You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 1 year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid. Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion. We offer a 45-day return policy so you can purchase this item with confidence. Please be absolutely sure this is the correct one for your motor prior to purchasing.
