This came from a local shop. The engine had been replaced due to low compression on the # 3 cylinder. Upon opening and inspecting it, we found that only the # 3 cylinder was scored. It is not badly scored and in my estimation, could be rebuilt with a .020 OS piston or re-sleeved.
This powerhead has no other damage that we have found. It is a freshwater, Illinois cylinder block that needs one sleeve repaired or oversized and it is ready for use. This is a block only. There are no crank, pistons, or rods included. We are selling it with the cylinder heads, both of which are in great condition and ready for use. If you order this incorrectly or change your mind within 45 days, you may return it with a 20% restocking fee and shipping. You must contact us in order to facilitate that.
