  • This crankshaft is in overall great condition.
  • All of the journals and bearing surfaces have been cleaned and polished to show any defects, there are none present.
  • The splines and threads are in good condition, as well as the keyway.
  • This would make a wonderful replacement for your outboard.
  • Please note that the bearing holder is not included. 
  • The journals have been checked with a micrometer to insure that they are within specs. 

We now use a mulitiple step process to clean and polish these crankshafts, including vibratory polishing with several diffrent medias, polishing and powder blasting. This helps in the inspection of the journals and bearing surfaces. We take pride in selling parts that are like new and in great usable condition.  

There is some minor pitting on the base of the crankshaft, please see pictures. Please note that this will not affect the overall performance.
