| Additional Info | This Volvo Penta lower unit is in overall good condition and ready for install. The skeg is worn down just a little-approximately an inch. We cleaned it up but did not add back to it. The paint shows standard, expected wear, but nothing that will affect the overall performance. From the base of the vertical shaft to the top, it measures approximately 5" long and has 17 splines. The propeller shaft has 19 splines. All the splines are in good condition and are not chipped or cracked. Please note that we cannot pressure check this lower unit because it has been removed from the upper. The oil was drained from the unit because of shipping restrictions. Upon doing so, we noted that it was very clean and did not have any metal shavings whatsoever. Given our unprecedented 1 year warranty, you will not find a better deal on an OEM part. Purchase with confidence! General Information
To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:
You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit one year warranty. One copy is for your records and the other copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid. You are responsible for returning the paperwork with your core. The one warranty ONLY covers the mechanical aspects of the lower unit. We have a 30-day return policy for all circumstances. Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
