  • Removed from a 1992 15 HP freshwater engine 
  • Engine had good spark 
  • Compression was 75 on all cylinders.  
  • Minor surface rust on starter and flywheel, no pitting and everything works as it should
  • Missing throttle assembly, so you will need to install yours.  Other than that, it is ready to install.
Although compression was down to 75, this motor was tested cold and kept in non-climate controlled storage. Factory spec for these motors is 110-120PSI and we believe that, because of the even compression reading and no scoring was visible with our bore-scope, once this motor gets warmed up it will be in the correct spec range.
