This power tilt has a three wire motor. The unit has been tested and works - does have a slow leakdown. According to our shop it runs smoothly and takes about 20 minutes to drop down completely. We kept the nuts and bolts in a bag with it. The wiring harness does have a damaged spot in it - please see attached pictures. This unit has alot of paint missing and scratches and this should not affect performance. Please refer to the photos to verify what is included in this listing and to see the condition it is in prior to ordering. This is a fairly clean system. They used it as a power tilt (ONLY) on 25-50 HP 2 cylinder Johnson and Evinrude outboards from the 70's all the way into the 90's. These are not power trims, meaning that they work fine when you're moving slowly or not at all but they're not going to trim very well when you're really moving.
