They must be torqued prior to storage. We’ve spent many hours perfecting this process to ensure that the connecting rod in this listing is essentially flawless. Each rod is glass-beaded clean and then hand-washed. The bearing surfaces are micro-polished for better inspection and oil shedding capabilities. We wrap the process up by reassembling the rod and treating it with a long-term corrosion inhibitor so this is in perfect shape when you receive it.
