1 YR WARRANTY 1986-1993 OMC Cobra V4 Lower Unit Outdrive Sterndrive 2.3 3.0 L

This unit was removed from a freshwater motor and is in good used condition.  This unit spins and shifts smoothly with no binding and the prop shaft is straight.  The driveshaft splines are showing slight wear.  When the unit was drained of oil, it came out clean and was free of metal and water.  The gears and clutch are in great condition with very slight clutch wear on the reverse gear.  The paint is a little banged up with holes drilled in the cavitation plate.  This should not affect performance.  The unit has been fully resealed and pressure checked.  It is backed by a 1 year warranty.  Please refer to the photos to verify both what is included in this listing and the condition it is in.  Purchase with confidence!

**Due to shipping restrictions, lower unit are shipped empty. Every lower unit requires new oil to be installed when you receive it.

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

• Core must be of rebuildable quality
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase
• Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 1 year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the 1 year warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
