327975-C# Johnson Evinrude 1974-1992 Lower Unit 9.9 15 HP FOR PARTS OR REPAIR

This specific lower unit is in good condition and only needs oil. The paint is worn off in a lot of areas on this lower unit, but nothing a paint job won't fix. On the skeg portion of the lower unit and there is some ding marks on it at well. This has a 13 spline propeller shaft and a 4 spline driveshaft. From the top of the water pump, the driveshaft measures approximately 17-3/4 long. All the splines are in excellent condition and are not chipped or cracked. There is some minor pitting on the driveshaft. This will need a new seal kit and impeller. The gear set inside the lower unit is in great shape. There are some pre-drilled holes in the cavitation plate for a planing fin if you would like to add one. Upon inspection, we did notice that there is a slight bend in the propeller shaft. This does shift in and out of gear like it should. Purchase with confidence!
